Fantastic. 7 Players will represent the red sox in the all star game. Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youklis, Manny and Ortiz were all voted to start by the fans. Sweet! Of course Big Papi will not be playing. Veritek was voted in by the players ( say what?! ) and then there is J.D Drew and Papelbon. The Red Sox tie the Cubs with the number of players voted in. How Mike Lowell is not on this list confuses me. He is performing much better , and more consistency than Veritek. Terry Francona will be Managing the AL team as he was the winning manager from 2007. Interesting I didn't realize that that's how it was determined.Overall should be a fun game. Wish I had tickets....
